Question Time
At traq were always asked questions, so we thought it was time to have our very own FAQ.
Here you can find all the answer's to those brain busting nail bitting questions
Questions regarding Traq
Q - Where is traq Located?
A - Traq is Located just off beddington lane in a quiet and secure surrounding. Check out our location page on how to get to Traq.
Q - How big are your tracks?
A - Our tarmac is 400m while our dirt tracks are 100m and our bigger one 1/2 mile long. All available for arrive and drive, parties, group events and bring your own
Q - is there some way safe where we can stand and watch?
A - Yep, course there is. there are seats at the side of the tracks, If all seats are occupied? am afraid you will end up having to stand or sitting on the grass.
Q - Do have any hot or cold drinks available?
A - Yes we do, Hot/cold drinks, confectionery, and snacks are available to buy at the desk
Q - Can I bring my own food?
A - Yes you can, but please make sure that any food consumed, left over's or packaging is disposed of. We don't take kindly to people who litter.
Q - Where can we park our cars?
A - We have free on-site parking.
Traq Karts
Q - What kind of karts do you use?
A - At traq for adults we use 200cc Stratos/Biz based Karts for organised race events and Arrive & Drive.
For Junior's between 8-12 years we use 160cc Biz based Karts .
All karts are to up to NKA specifications ( National Karting Association) and are all fitted with speed controllers to allow us to adjust karts speeds according to drivers overall ability.
Q - Do your karts have seat belts?
A - This one has been asked a few times? and no, our karts have no seat belts.
Q - How fast do your karts go?
A - Our karts are capable of speeds of around 45mph. Kart speed depend driver ability, track layout (long straights 90 degree bends, fast corners, no hairpins so weight no disadvantage
Q - Can I bring my own kart?
A - Yes you can! bring your owns are always welcomed. But please give us a call before you set off, so that we can let you know of the track's availability.
Traq Mini Motos
Q - What kind of Mini Motos do you use?
A - At traq we use 50cc 4.2 air cooled balta bikes .
Q - What is the age limit?
A - anyone from 8 and upwards can ride
Q - How fast does your Mini Motos go?
A - Our Mini Motos can reach speeds of around 35mph
Q - Can I bring my own Mini Moto?
A - Yes you can! Bring your owns are always welcomed. But please give us a call before you set off, so that we can let you know of the track's availability. track is always available 9-11am sat-sun
Traq Quads
Q - What kind of Quads do you use?
A - At traq we use Suzuki LT 50 styled suitable for 4-12 years (Speeds can be governed to reflect drivers skill)
Q - Can I bring my own Quad?
A - Yes you can! bring your owns are always welcomed. But please give us a call before you set off, so that we can let you know of the track's availability.
Races and Organized Events
Q - How much does it cost?
A - Prices start from as little as £15. For a full guide on our prices, please see our Price list (Price list is downloadable as a PDF file)
Q - Is a deposit needed?
A - To secure your time slot for your event, a minimum non refundable deposit of £20 is Required. All deposits will need to be paid in full, at least 2 days before the start of your event
Q - What Forms of payment do you accept?
A - We accepted Cash, most major Debit/Credit Cards and Cheques
Q - What time do I need to arrive?
A - If you have a pre-booked event, Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time. The clock starts from the time of your event. If you arrive late no compensation time will be added
Q - How much notice do you need for an event booking?
A - We prefer at least 3 days notice, But it's best to book well in advance to avoid any disappointment.
Equipment
Q - What equipment do you provide?
A -We provide race suits, helmets and gloves.
Q - What clothes do I need to wear?
A - No special clothing needed, although we suggest you wear older clothes and appropriate footwear which is essential such as trainers.
Q - Can I bring my own helmet, gloves etc..?
A - Yes you can. Helmets need to be full face. Moto-cross helmets require goggles and chin piece.
